Review for Transitioning Transitioning From a Weekend to a War Zone
Genuinely a Graceful Account of Military Experience

I met Renata out of the blue today and was very inspired by her passion and dedication beyond her military service to continually help others, and in this case, she has laid that out compassionately in, “Transitioning from A Weekend to A Warzone”. I normally do not find time to sit down and read a book, but I felt her story was genuine and I wanted to see how she told her story, and would non-service members get an unbiased, clear, and experiential firsthand account of what it was like to be shipped out overseas in support of wartime efforts from the soldier’s perspective.
Well, I finished her book in one afternoon. I was drawn into her personal experiences, and her conveyance of emotions that are derived as soldiers are developed and ordered to perform.
Renata is a beautiful women and a God send for the rest of us to learn from. If you want the no nonsense view of what it is like to be a soldier, while trying to be a ‘normal’ citizen, then this is a read for you.
Well done, Renata. You are a blessing. Never quit, and I look forward to reading more of your work.
